Alonso Suspect, F1 Boring
I dont mean to offend anyones nationalist sympathies, but there is something peculiar about Alonso.
For a Spaniard, he seems very UnSpanish.
A Spaniard winning the F1 crown and choosing not to return to a huge and waiting triumphant acclaim is just ridiculous.
I cant imagine a Spaniard wearing Gold lame racing shoes. The shoes might be a joke,well ok Alonso,now get Miss World to show us her cookies please.
I cant imagine a successful Spanish F1 driver NOT having a
primo bevy of babes in his entourage,each named for a day of the week,with twins for weekends. I know I would.
I cant imagine a Spanish F1 champion spending all of his off time in Oxford, England. Is the library that good?
If I was a Spanish F1 fan, I would be annoyed at his lack of
rowdy public behaviour and wanton debauchery. Is the church next on his to do list?
Whats the point of being the F1 Champ if you dont revel
in it? He's young, now rich and the public would forgive
any tabloid romantic embroglios, excessive speeding on public roads and apres dinner vomiting on political time bandits.
Has F1 gotten so polished, so politically correct, so techy that we have a whole new generation of bland geeky drivers?
Is it going to end up like nascar where they drink milk at the end of each race?
Will they next all hold hands and sing the Euro Disney Anthem after each race?
Or is Alonso just a self imposed victim of his own middle class roots?
And is that an excuse to also be a champion hermit?
