    gt3(original)/turbo,which do you prefer?

    The Turbo seems great on acceleration while peole say that GT3 really a sport car for skilled driver who go cray on track and drive safely on the road。
    For Both daily driving and track on the weekend,which do you think is a better Porsche?(We know that the GT3 is cheaper but now i'll ignore Price gap between them)

    Can a 997GT3 beat the 997Turbo on the track when driven by the drivers of the same level? I just think that,the Turbo can accelerates mush faster when leaving the corners on track。

    So are you concerned only with performance?

    For example in the Turbo you sit relatively higher in the cabin; this gives you better vision and comfort but I guess couldn't be construed as being as 'sporty' as the GT3

    ..this might be a reason why people prefer either car and it is in no way related to performance....

    In terms of outright pace I would think that it depends on the track...did I hear correctly that W. Rohl drove the new turbo round the ring in the same time as a GT3 RS? That wouldn't surprise me because the ring is quite a fast track...but hockenheim? Or even smaller like Oulton Park?

    And something ive learnt in my forray into real motor sport; that speed is all about how comfortable you feel with the car (and this is something that cannot be changed by the type of seat!)

    ..i.e. the more able you are to 'feel' the cars (hopefully) predictible limits then the more you can push it to its performance edge within your level of ability

    ...this is one reason why 911's are so fast in general (for the level of hp [and besides the engine layout])...the great steering rack they all have... I guess then you would have to say after driving both (which I haven't yet)..in what one do you feel comfortable going fastt?!

    GT3 on track every time, due to weight transferance, ask your self why non of the porsche race cars are based on turbo! I track 12 times a year and no matter what BHP a turbo has , most of it is unusable, do you really want to be half way round a corner when the turbo boosts the car.
    Turbo for straight line speed and motorways.
    GT3 or anything light for corners,braking etc.
