    Panamera wheel arches

    Notice the wheel arches so huge compare to the tires. looks like the production will get 22 or 24 inch rims.

    It's just a horrible, out of proportion shape. As far as wheel arches go, wasn't the Cayeene suffering from way too big arches until the GTS version?

    This is turning out to be one ugly car....disappointingly so. I was thinking I wanted one, now not so much.

    I wouldn't pass judgement just yet... I recall having seen pictures that made it look like the camo on this car was much more effective than I'd first thought. I don't remember which thread, etc, but there was a shot of an open door and it looked like that camo stuff was 6 inches deep! imho ymmv and all that...

    Hope you're right. I'm trying to imagine what it looks like without all that taped on crap and not loving it.:!

    RC stated that the rear reminded him a lot of the 997, but at the same time it didn't look like a 997.

    I agree nothing innovative, but is the back the carrera any more exciting? Perhaps we got used to it.

    Can't exactly use that green car as a stepping stone, the whole rear quarter panels are padded, and it looks like even the rear hatch looks like a fake one too, but for all likelyhood the car will have a BIG butt, it's in the Porsche tradition

    It does look from many angles like a Lexus GS 300.

    Ron, the picture you judge is too old now to compare the wheel arches. There the car has still much more camo than the last pictures posted more recently.

    The Magazine shots posted by reginos aren't that bad, even though the front looks like a corvette.

    But the mule is still not like the curves from the mag pics.

    Might have something to do with the car they've begun with . Jokes aside, the 911 has a very distinct shape, which unfortunately doesn't lend well to any sort of manipulation, such as the 'stretch limo' treatment.
