    Year of manufacture

    I've just taken delivery of my new 997s from OPC Guildford in the UK. (well 2 weeks ago actually) How can I tell which model year it is?

    Look at the VIN, the digit before the S (Stuttgart) will be a 5 or a 6.

    I don't know how it works in the UK, but in the US, the model year is prominently displayed all over the place; window sticker, owner's manuals, registration papers, finance papers, invoice. Its hard to hide the model year at purchase.
