    Cooling fan..

    .. I've noticed the past few times that I've started my Boxster, after it been sat for 30 mins or so since the last drive, the engine cooling fan has kicked in for quite a while despite the air temp being low and the water temp being well below the mid point. Was never aware of this on my 986 - the car had to be really hot for it to kick in, wondering if the thermostat is too sensitive/faulty - anyone else notice anything similar?

    Yes, mine does the same. Something else to bore our significant others with later today.

    It's very normal that the fan kicks on ever so often to keep the working temperature optimal.
    My 986 does the same.
    What's the plan for today? Sounds like you have a sinister plan up your sleeves?
