    Do 996's have charcoal canisters ?

    just curious if all 911's 1964-2006 have charcoal canisters like the cayenne's

    Good question! My dealer just changed mine & I asked for a charcoal canister but he told me that there was now just a single type.

    Anyone know more?

    Assuming you mean for fuel vapor - not the cabin filter?
    The charcoal cabin filter is an option.
    Yes, though it is shaped quite differently. See fuel vapor canister item 1 below...

    I thought the fuel vapor cannister is not a replacement part, it lasts for the life of the car
