This talk is what makes these boards boring IMO. It is usually our American friends who criticise speeding in public. In my high opinion there are many more matters that should be criticised before that. Driver education. Living in the states for 5 years I am pretty confident to say that people drive like robots in a constant motion when theere is a need to make an emergency maneuver instead they cannot respond and crash. Nobody expects the unwanted. They eat, talk on the cell, do make up etc. They turn their head when changing lanes instead of adjusting the mirrors(this is one of the most stupid things I have seen in the world, it is so dangerous)
I am glad I live in a place where I can drive with freedom. First rule of driving here is using the mirrors driving with extreme cautions at all times and etc. I enjoy my car alot and explore its potential alot on the highways.
Somthing that is boring to you might be enjoyment for me while something that is boring for me is a reason for you to enjoy doing some public awareness speeches here.
Where is it going to go? Are you going to give a ban punisment to the poster of this video. I would rather talk about the video than criticise. If you do not like it donot post it. If everyone does that it will turn into a pissing contest here. I prefer to enjoy the car talk not reading public awareness critisism. If you open a thread about it thats fine but this is like highjacking the posters thread.

Sorry, but that sort of behavior, especially at night, is irresponsible and in the public arena, it endangers others. I'm not going to sit aside and let it go without those reminders any more than I would a post where the author shows how fun it can be to drive a GT3 stoned.
You sound defensive, but you simply can't justify your position, no matter how good a driver you are. Can you always predict what that minivan with 3 kids in it (doing 90km/hr because grandma is behind the wheel and she can't see so well at night) is going to do as you approach at over 300 km/hr?
Accidents always happen to people who don't expect them. Spare the rest of us the risk you place upon us by abusing the privilige society affords you to drive, and save it for the track, the salt flats, the straightaway, etc.
You can still enjoy your sportscar without being that reckless. Besides, a monkey could go that fast in a straight line. Boring.

Well I wrote what I wrote very generally and did not take this video specially. The grandma in your example should not be driving at all. I do not see any other way and here everybody expects everything you will get passed by Civics doing 180 km/h on the autobahn. It is common.
You can always PM the poster and satisfy your urge to correct the behaviour (English is my second language so I do not know if that is appropriate) Now this thread became nothing related to the title thanks to you guys and thanks to me since I became part of the highjacking by expressing the counter point of view.
Sorry but as I said speed should be the least of your worries. I still stand with what I wrote in my first post.
