    Parktronic faulty

    Hi Everyone! Does someone have encountered problems with the front parktronic of Cayenne? Mine goes mad sometimes: it starts to flash and makes sounds even if there is nothing in front of it. Sometimes I have to turn it off because it makes me very nervous! I have noticed that this strange behavior appears often when my car is under hot sun light. Is it normal?

    No, that sounds abnormal.

    The system will not function as expected if the sensors are dirty, when using the vehicle in the rain, or when attempting to detect glass or snow.

    The dealership can investigate the system, which involves checking the wiring, then replacing the module, if appropriate.

    According to a recent TSB dirt is the biggest cause of mis-reads by the sensors.
