997 Professional Detail
Just had my car detailed by Mark and wanted to share it, the finish is now fantastic to say the least and it was a pleasure to watch Mark work .
Mark arrived at 8.00 am and I was still washing the car, the neighbours must have thought I had gone mad as I was out there at 7am in the dark washing the car in preperation for Mark's paint correction process.
If any of you are considering this I highly recommend Mark ,he is a master at this and a great bloke too, he can be found at
www.theshinefactory.co.uk
Now in Marks words:
Arrived slightly early today and the owner Tim was giving the car a careful wash, two bucket method, mitt, grit guard and megs water magnet. As a result the paint was in pretty good shape, just some minor cobwebbing from the dealers.
It was also a chance to try my new camera out, I went for the panasonic lunimix 'rangefinder' style camera with leica lens It shoots in widescreen. All shots taken 'wide open' at f2.8 iso400.
Process
Clay: Sonus Green
Polish: Menzerna Intensive Polish 3.02 at 1200rpm megs polishing pad
Polish: Menzerna final finish at 900-600rpm megs finishing pad.
IPA wipedown
Zymol HD Cleanse
Zymol Atlantique by hand
Megs last touch final wipedown
Megs glass cleaner
Brilliant Chrome polish on exaust tips by Tim
Wheel wax on wheels by Tim
CG extreme liquid dressing on tyres by Tim
No befores as light swirling and very heavy flake made it hard to photograph.
