1) Take a flat head screwdriver and wrap a thin cotton cloth around the end
2) Pry the end of the lens up closest to the front of the car
3) When you can get your fingers under it lift it the rest of the way pushing toward the rear of the car as you lift the lens out of its fitting.
4) Unclip the existing socket and insert into the the new lens (the socket is held in by the metal clip)
5) Insert the new lens into its fitting inserting the end closest to the front of the car first
6) Snap it back into its fitting!!
Once you take it out you will see how simple the process is. It takes about 60 seconds to take it out, unhook the socket, hook the new lens up and insert it back into the fitting.
Wow, it seems really simple but one question you said use a screw driver to snap the thing out from the part closest to the tip, when i look at my new marker, it seems that i should take it out from the back.. Tell me if you don't get what i mean, but are you sure i start with the end closest to the front? Also, what is the worst case senario? Can i screw up the car???
or will i just screw up the markers?
