    Picture of Gen I's and Gen II's. The hole pattern on the rotors are different. The Gen I's have a circular pattern

    the rotors on my 2001 GT2, which have been mounted in 2003, look like your second photo!!!

    The Five or so 2005 GT2s delivered to the US have the second generation PCCBs period end of story. The difference is easy to see and determine. As a matter of fact the cooling pattern on the rotors looks exactly like my 2005 CGT. In addition Porsche has discussed this matter in it's press release's regarding the 2005 GT2. I also owned a late June build 2004 GT2 but never checked to see if the PCCBS were second generation or not? Porsche has indicated that the second generation PCCBs were installed on some of the late 2004 GT2s as well.
