    Lambo, Maserati and Ferrari news

    Geneva 06

    Lambo will present a 2WD study of the Gallardo
    And the concept of the Lagartijo, a 2+2 front mid engined V12 GT

    Maseati will present the Gransport MC Victory to commemorate the MC12 success in GT FIA. A Gransport with specific body parts, special interior and a couple of surprises chassis wise, same engine though.

    Ferrari will have a pretty huge surprise. Only hint: It will not be on the Ferrari stand.

    Lagartijo??? Well, I always thought it couldn't get more complicated after the Murciélago. I was wrong.

    BTW, is that big surprise from Ferrari, that's not at the Ferrari stand, the rumoured one-off special Enzo (basically a new designed car by Pininfarina based on an Enzo)?

    "huge" and "not on the stand"...

    if "huge" is in terms of sheer size... something not fitting on the stand? or even not fitting in the pavilion?

    I really liked the pictures of the new Gransport MC.
    As I told the Ferrari guys, it's taken Maserati over four bloody years to come up with a fine package but at least they've done it.
    I see this car as a great alternative to the likes of DB9, CL55, M6, etc. and much cheaper too and much more exclusive, and wait til you hear it!
    It is however not focused enough to rival cars like the 911 or AMV8.
    But a great GT nonetheless.

    Fanch, did you drive Gransport? I did and it is a nothing special, IMO. Yes, engine is great but, cambicorsa is not in the Ferrari F430 F1 gearbox class and chassis feels... Well... Dated, IMO. My Boxster S(987) is more fun to drive!
    Not to talk about your 997S...(soon also mine!)

    Correct, no way near as involving as our car.
    But this is why I wrote this car should be compared to GTs.
    It is for example better to drive than an SL IMO.
    The F1 is slow an sluggish in slow traffic, you get used to it but it's quite unpleasant.

    Correct and not.
    It is indeed a privateer's project but the car is made by Pinifarina, who also did the Enzo.

    Well, basically it's Pininfarina, who did the car. So he could decide where to show the car. Or we see something like a preview of it...
