    Re: Ferrari's new car

As a owner of the current FF, I sort of like the new front, looks a bit more aggressive.

Not quite sure about the new side vent, seems too in your face.

The sharper rear shoulder is nice, but not sure about the look of the quad tail lights yet.

    GTC4Lusso, what a mouthful.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

LOVE IT, can't wait to see one in the flesh. They fix my biggest issue with the design around the tail lights. And for others who cared they smoothed the roof line. 690 HP RWS V12 only.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

Quoted dry weight stayed the same.

New car is longer by 15mm

    Wider by 27mm.

    Taller by 4mm

New engine has an extra 28HP at the same 8000rpm, 10ft-lb more peak torque at 250 rpm lower.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

The new interior is much nicer, but overall not tempting enough for me to upgrade.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

Agreed, especially considering the massive depreciation of the first years. So it is a new model, not just a facelift. Interesting. Maybe they are trying to really boost the sales.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

    GTC4lusso?!

SG is in a mission to erase any trace of LDM. Even names of models.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

Did anyone else notice the quad tail-lights are back!!!! crying angel

    Re: Ferrari's new car

    Front improved.

I dislike the rear and the ridiculous name. Sounds like McLaren MP4-12C. Too long.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

Like the 4 tail lights, as the 355, 328...

    Re: Ferrari's new car

Love the rear, don't love the front wing vents but think that the car would look too long and nose heavy without them. Interior looks much better.

I can't stand the depreciation on these things but they just made a used FF a whole lot cheaper and will be a great used buy themselves.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

    FF were already cheap used...

    Re: Ferrari's new car

The new interior is really really nice.

But consider they will likely have price increase and together with the depreciation I will get on the FF, the different is probably enough to pay for a Cayenne Turbo S. Which is really occupying in my mind right now, might even do European delivery.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

I'm an FF fan. And I generally like this new design. The front is great. Ditto the side (perhaps the vent is a bit overdone). The rear is very good as well, although the quad taillights are a bit much.

Probably the first Ferrari I would buy at this point in life.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

Feels a little late in the cycle to buy a Cayenne TTS...

    Re: Ferrari's new car

I generally do not like the "computer" pictures from Ferrari. Front and side line seem to be improved, I am also not sure about the air vents on the side. Rear is defintely something which I have to be see in person before I can judge.

these homage to French-style 1960/70s vertical headlights ( with the added slimy lizard look from its LED dots ) have ruined every Ferrari in the past 5+ yrs, imo , by drawing too much attention,  for a brand that should be all about the beauty of the whole car ...it is like putting a pound of slutty eye black and glitter around the eyes of otherwise beautiful women

see how much sleeker , lower and wider the car in this photo looks just by blotting out the vertical portion with your thumbs ! the same holds for every other model in their current line up

Cayenne Turbo S is a no brainer - an unbeatable combination of power/capability/practicality/ price  - despite the depreciation which is small compared to the FF Smiley

Ferrari have been clever with the GTC4 Lusso  - its not just cosmetic changes  - more power, rear wheel steer , much improved interior, and the addition of SSC4 add up to a significant and meaningful number of changes. I can't make the launch next week so will reserve final judgment on the looks till Geneva but until then for me (purely subjectively of course) - the front and side look good, but the four rear lights and built in spoiler will take some getting used to. It will be interesting to see where pricing comes out.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

Show pics to my wife. She said why did Ferrari ruined the beautiful rear end of the FF, said now it looks like a generic Japanese car. angel

I will also missed the launch. but will certainly take a look at it in Geneva.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

I'm very unsure about the design. I don't love it, but I like what they did to some parts of it. It's certainly better than what I thought it was going to be like from the teaser. otoh I like the idea of Ferrari bringing back the dual tail lights.

    Re: Ferrari's new car

a ferrari-panamera, but with 12cylinders NA. i hope they will not get closer to an SUV than this.
