renting 997 in germany - help

I know this has been posted before but I had a few questions. Why do you need 2 credit cards if your liability is only up to 950 Euro .

I'd like to rent one when the winter ends (too dangerous right now for a rookie like myself) but I'm a bit confused with their 2 credit cards request. And I don't really understand german so it's not helping either.

It just sounds too cheap to be true. What's the amount they can charge you on both your credit cards and for what reasons? What kind of credits cards are required?

One credit car will do, if it's either an Avis-card, Porsche-Mastercard or Amex Gold. Otherwise you need two cards, of which one has to be either Amex or Diners.
They charge you 199.- Euro /day (200 km included/each additional km adds 1.- Euro to your bill) or full weekend from Friday noon to Monday noon for 535.- Euro . As far as I understand insurance is included in the rate. Minimum age is 25 yrs with min. 3 yrs driving experience (driving license).
Only car available is 997 C 2.

i rented porsches from avis germany several times.
you need two cards of which one has to be amex or diners.
minimumage is 30 years not 25 with at least 3 years driving experience.

insurance is covered with amex platinum or black card. otherwise insurance is extra.

It says on avis website that you need to be 25. Are you sure?

Insurance extra? How much is it?
Are you really liable for only 950 Euro ?
Can you take the car to the nurburg at no additional cost?
