    Sorry guys I much prefer the coupe.

    It loses it classic lines....would probably look better with the top down.

    The front and side profile of the car looks not too bad, the rear is ugly with the top up though

    I saw the coupe a couple of weekends ago in London and it was drop dead gorgeous in person.

    Both are great IMHO. I had a good look at the coupe in Geneva and I love it. A tempting alternative to a 911.

    Front is nice but the rear profile is just spoilt in the cab
    IMO...

    Especially when it laps the ring faster than the 911s.

    But only with Pirell P Zero Corsa tires. With Corsa's 997S(-20mm/LSD,PCCB) time is around 7.59min.

    Like Branimir said... If they wanna use that time to compare then Porsche should have a CarreraS with -20mm, PCCB AND X-51 Powerkit.
    The 911 is faster, period...

    amv8 is a gorgeous car. saw a black one in germany and couldnt stop gazing at it.

    I almost always prefer hard tops over convertibles, this car is no exception.

    Well said. But ceramics are some way off and no 'S' version imminent according to the guys at Geneva so what it is is what it is for the next few months anyway. But a cool car....

    Hard top is beautiful...I'm sure the cab would look great with the top down however....

    I am thinking of this car as opposed to a 911 when I get my next car...so alluring.
