What is the most surprising is the real weight of the GTS !! Maybe it is with a full 90l tank, otherwise this is way too much .

At the end the price/value is giving the victory towards the Corvette. As we all already new, the new Stingray is a damn good car. But it never would make a Porsche-Enthusiast really happy. You will have the feeling people are looking weird towards you just you are driving a Corvette and you are not able to afford a "real" sportscar angry

If Mercedes would make a C63 S AMG with AWD, it would sell like crazy. I haven't driven the new C63 S yet but according to a friend who has, the traction and ESP setup have been improved (vs. the "old" model) but due to the higher torque of the turbo charged engine, it would still profit a lot from AWD. Maybe soon... Smiley

I'd say that a C63 S AMG 4matic could do 0-100 kph in 3.4 seconds and 0-200 kph in 12 seconds flat. Maybe one reason there isn't one yet...it would be too much competition (for a much lower price) to the AMG GT S.

The C63 is a great car. But again.... I'm such a fan of that good old 6.3 Liter engine.... why the heck should you take that new 4.0 Turbo? Go and get one of the old ones.... Smiley

I was actually thinking about getting a C63 Coupe Edition 507 (found one for 65k EUR with low mileage) but then again, it would be too close to my Shelby GT 500 and I really would love to add something more exotic to my stable.

I cannot even imagine one of these fine cars ("old" C63) falling into the hands of some idiot drivers who just want to have lots of power in the car but have no brains (or skills) to actually drive it. Some C63 sedans are already available slightly under 40k EUR, this is insane.

AMGs (SLS excepted) have always depreciated heavily.

True enough.

I think as RC is saying. The C63 Coupe - 507 or not 507 is just an insane car for a great value. And - people are not jealous - the car is just a small MB Smiley

Depreciation.... unfortunately the "wanted" cars stay stiff here in Germany. Talking about the G63/G65.... SLS.... S63-Coupe. It are the sedans which are loosing value in any kind of configuration and engine - they are dropping fast. You can make bargains on CLS, E-Classes, etc.

Not the ones I know because they know the very specific (social) situation in Germany.

If I would live in Miami, I would not drive a Porsche 911, thats for sure. Smiley
