If I haven't convinced you Rennteamers to do a tourist delivery I'm not doing my job! Friends of mine warned me about driving in Italy with all the Italian drivers (not true) and other such cautions. It was a blast to have a capable car. I drove the Amalfi and Positano Coast with the Cab and that is the car to use on those roads. No tour bus is TOO big or TOO large to get around quickly with a Carrera. Italians LOVE sports cars so it's a popular car for them,--it doesn't have to be the OTHER sports car (you know,--the F-word).
I just used a little common sense with where I parked and enjoyed the autobahns and autostratas immensely. European drivers would move over for you,--unlike California!
Gmünd has a small Porsche museum (not affiliated with Porsche AG) which has some interesting cars in it (among them a 550 spyder). Within 2-3 kms is the old sawmill where I shot the first shot.
