windshield ice

I have a 2004 Cayanne S, we live in a cold climate, when we leave the car outside until midnight or so a thin layer of ice forms INSIDE the windshield, only when it dips to 5-10 deg F, anyone HELP please

This may be no way to counter past accusations that I tend towards sarcasm, but am I correct in thinking that you have lived in a warmer climate up until now?

Most people confronted with ice on the inside of their windshield just start their engine, switch their AC controls to demist, which blows dried and ... sooner or later ... heated air onto the inside of the windshield.

That beats the alternative, i.e., not breathing inside your car.

Oh, and by the way, welcome to rennteam.

PS: RC, are these Santa Clauses still showing up on all rennteamers screens, or is it just that my PC has picked up a virus?
