uve got to be kidding me! only 450hp thats as much as last yrs damnit! if they are going to keep awd and add more weight than the last 996 porsche is going to have a very hard time staying on top of the sports car heap with the 500hp Corvette Z06 coming out. wtf was porsche thinking?! are they only aware of what is going on in germany?! it better have at least 500hp or im going to be seriously pissed at the arrogant pricks at porsche management for not realizing what the competition is doing. and it better sound a hell of a lot better than that blow dryer noise i heard in that video.

Spend some time searching this Board and you will find that the likely number is 490bhp

Don't forget, power isn't everything. If you want the most power, buy an AMG Benz. CAR was noting that while they're swooning over the new Aston Martin V8 as the "Porsche killer", that the 911 S is 200Kg!! (440 pounds) lighter. It's also 100Kg lighter than the new Ferrari 430 which doesn't have a back seat. The 911 Turbo will probably weigh the same as the Ferrari but again, the Turbo has AWD and the Ferrari doesn't.
