Run-flat-tires tend to understeer due to the stronger carcass. In this case the tire temperature will rise which will slower the maximum possible apex speed (we are talking about street-tires and not racing tires). That's why it is impressive what the Z06 can do.
It was frequently mentioned that the Z06's run-flat tires are inferior to state-of-the-art products from Michelin or Pirelli. Still I am lacking the concept why the stiffer sidewalls induce understeer - especially considering the Z06's camber angles I'd be curious if that's the case on this car. I am more or less under the impression that the car's setup is not as remarkable and forgiving to the driver as Porsche's current lineup.
