Attractive package for all Porsche 911 Carrera models (July 2013)
For 50 years now, the Porsche 911 has been at home on the world’s roads and race courses. There is hardly any other car that can look back on such a long tradition. On the occasion of this anniversary, Porsche AG is now offering its 911 customers a customised equipment package. The “50 years of 911” option package goes to the heart of what has made the 911 unique over its 50 years: a combination of exceptional performance and everyday utility. The package can be ordered for all 911 Carrera cars, including the “50 years of 911” anniversary model whose production is limited to 1963 units.
The anniversary package consists of five very popular equipment options: the Sport Chrono package, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including navigation module, the telephone module, front and rear park assist and seat heating for the driver and front passenger. In Germany, the entire package can be purchased for a uniform price 4,911 euros including VAT. Depending on the specific 911 model version, this can result in a price advantage of as much as 34 per cent compared to the sum of individual prices for the optional features. The “50 years of 911” option package is available across Europe except in Russia and Switzerland.
