    PCCB Brakes Price..

    I have a question and I need your help..

    I am thinking of buying a 997tt manual (As I am bored of waiting the GT2). How much does the Pccb brakes costs as a retrofit option there in Germany, as Porsche here in Greece asks for 17.000 euros!!! And I am thinking of placing them afterwards... (Inside Porsche of Germany ofcourse...)

    You can find the official tequipment prices on Porsche's German webpage. Currently they show only a 997 PCCB kit, not a dedicated 997TT one. The 997 upgrade cost 14.000 Euro incl. German VAT. The price is without labor. I assume that the 997TT prices might be higher.

    Ask Gert at www.carnewal.com. He can get them for you. I think they are about 15k. If Sportscar charges 17k so I think you should just order them with the car. If you push them you ll get a discount on that for sure (know someone who did).

    Suncoast Porsche has them for around $13K USD...I think for the 997 only not the TT.

    I checked into this as well, when I ordered the car i desided not to go with them and now I would like to retrofit. Their is NO kit. And you dont want to buy it without a kit. The Parts cost is 31,000 US. If they come out with a kit I suspect it will be in the 17,000 range. At this point cheaper to sell sell your car and order another one with them.

    Holy Crap Batman.. Yes, Justin parted it out. The reason the 997 PCCB brakes are less is because there is a Tech Equipment Kit. As soon as their is a Turbo kit i might do it but expect it will be about 17K

    Are the front caliper sizes the same between the standard 997TT red calipers and the 997TT PCCBs? I know the in the 997S the normal calipers were much smaller than PCCBs...

    I'm not sure if the caliper sizes are the same but since the PCCB rotors are much larger I would imagine that the calipers would also be larger too.

    Hey, if you want I can get the Porsche Motorsports Carbon Brake kit for the car. If any of you are interested I'll get the price. I work with a race team in Los Angeles, we have 2 997 cup's on the way, and also 1 rsr on order.

    Carbon brakes? Are those the true carbon rotors as opposed to the carbon-composite mix used by the PCCB system? That's going to be incredibly expensive from the sounds of it. I'd be curious to hear how much those systems go for. Can you also give us the specifications of their carbon system too such as rotor size, caliper types, number of pistons, etc.

    I beleive the 997 cup has a carbon composite brake not a true carbon fiber rotor
