Hi nick1, I have an Exige S. I wouldn't recommend the car if it is going to be your daily driver. The ride is damn hard! Price you paying for performance and handling are a real bargain though! Good luck with your find.

Hi Nick,
I have an S1 Elise 190 and a Trophy spec S2 Exige 240.
As Mike S said, if it is'nt your daily you'll like it. Raw presence and a hell of alot of fun.
Also, FYI, Im about 6"1 and my S2 Exige has a full FIA cage. Lets just say its almost pornographic to watch me get into the bloody thing. Apart from that, Lovely!

Hi Nick,
as Guass stated, it is a MKII - I think the build quality is quite good considering what you pay. I don't have any problems with it at all. Mine is stock standard except for the stage 2 exhaust from Lotus (be warned it is VERY VERY LOUD). I drive it on the track quite frequently, the main reason why I bought it.

I used to have the first exige S that arrived in greece at 2006 and i sold it after a year and before 5 months i got also the new one with the performance pack but i sold it recently and got the 997 gt2. Great car amazing feeling, very fast in turn, slow on the strait line and very uncomfortable. If you are looking an every day sport car is not the one to get, but if you want a small hardcore "supercar" for track, steering, braking and track days is every good value for money!!
