    GTech Pro Results

    Hi folks, I just wanted to share my Gtech Pro readings. My 0to60 times are around 5.4 secs. This was done with the temp about 70F tonight. Note that the HP looks a little low at 209 whp. I would have expected it to be around 224 whp using the math 280hp/1.25 for drivetrain losses.

    Does anyone else have similar results?

    Hi M3Armand - approximately 25% drivetrain loss sounds way too much to me, though I'm not a dyno-expert and didn't test my own car yet.

    The tested 987S 3.2 showed 254 WHP, even the Cayman S Tiptronic showed a loss of 12% only.

    From what I've heard engine testing is a science on it's own though.
    My own non-scientific test is pretty simple: push the pedal to the metal on the Autobahn and check the topspeed

    All dynos differ though. I was hoping that there's someone out there who also has a GTECH PRO so that we could compare as close to like for like.

    But I like your dyno method the best!
