    That last video is very interesting, the Cayman is unable to pass the Boxster...

    Yes Temm, I am very much surprised by how come the Cayman didn't kill the boxster. Also, in the first video, I couldn't believe the 986s generation car did so well up against all the newer cars like Z4. THE SLK 55 AMG has a huge V8 engine and now they are doing the SLK 63 and I think Porsche is very efficient when it comes to tuning the boxer engine. Others have to make all their cars V8 with huge capacity to just name themselves the "porsche killer". I can't wait to see a V8 4.0L 998.

    Temm, I worked in Tokyo before and the Japanese love to test supercars against each other. Use the word "TSUBAKA" and "BATTLE" on YOU TUBE and you will find tons of super cars battles. TSUBAKA is the famous test track in JAPAN.

    I test drove the cayman s yesterday at the dealer but I surely feel that once above the 4000 rpm range, the Cayman sounds much much better and it feels more powerful. Nonetheless, this is an interesting find as we haven't seen any track run on YOUTUBE with CAYMAN S head to head with 987s

    Assuming that both drivers are equally talented there is no chance for the Cayman S driver to overtake the Boxster S driver on a relative tight track, if the Boxster S driver takes the lead right after the start and if he knows how to cover his line - 15 hp advantage for the following car is just not enough. Mind you that even without a race fight both cars show very close lap times at HHR.
