    new cayman ?

    HI eveybody,

    I have been enjoying my boxster for some 15 months now, and plan to buy new car for delivery around December 08/january Crossed my mind to buy the cayman, now, I read that porsche may facelift its baby. dont want to get a new car which will be slightly changed a X couple of months after. Do you have more info on that facelift ?

    Also, what is your experience with sport package, sure that 6 gear is a must, but does sport suspension matter for daily use ? (i dont use my car on circuit)

    Do u know if sound system or bose comes with rear speakers ?? in boxster sound system is not equipped with rear speakers, which is a shame (not to mention the ipod issue)

    Hi there,

    I've got the Bose system in my Cayman S and it does come with rear speakers, although most of the bass actually comes from the Subwoofer that is fitted into the passenger footwell with the Bose set up (eats a little bit of space, but not too much of an issue).

    The facelift will be a personal perference thing. Personally I think it looks worse than the current car, but there are always those who would rather have the latest.

    Any mechanical differences might be more important, particularly if Porsche switch the engine to direct-injection.

    If I was in your shoes I'd wait to see what the new model actually offers over the old.

    The facelift coming next year is going to be pretty dramatic and if I was you I would hold on to my money. Not only will the facelifted feature LED lights but will have it power noticeably bumped up.

    abostuly, but likely that this facelift will only be for September 2008 models , anyway, better to wait
