Nothing new basically

.....
The new generation GT3 is better as a daily driver and should be a bit more comfortable as well... Then again in most reviews I've read about the 996 GT3, they said the suspension is just to hard to live with every day.... I really dont know what they are talking about

. I'm using my 996 MKII EVERY DAY now

, even in the rain and the only thing that gets a bit harsh is the lack of sound insulation. Thats it for me, seriously. It's all good to hear the purr of the engine, but it gets a bit much to hear it all day, everyday. Road noise at speed is a bit on the loud side as well but I guess I just learnt to live with it. I was very suprised just how well the springs can deal with road imperfections. This is not a luxurious or even very comforatble car, it never will be, but its very far from being uncomfortable.
The new GT3, should be even better. Remember it has PASM, so the suspension will adapt to your driving styles and the road conditions (to a certain extent). The interior is quite a bit better than the 996 generation GT3 too so it should also be a better place to be in.
Not sure about ride height with the 997 version, but its quite low on my car already, and I think the new one is even lower; so that might be a bit of a problem.
The new GT3 is just a superior car to the 996 models, in every regard
