    Sold the gallardo, bought an F430

    After two years of perfect ownership, i sold the gallardo, the car was great, very reliable, really perfect. i bought a yellow 2007 f430 ,i also love it, very fun to drive. it has a lot of options : all carbon interior , hifi, daytona seats , yellow stitching, sensors, etc etc...

    vinnie, conpared to an f430 the G feels its driving on rails... in the G at 50kph or at 300kph, its the same , the car feels very safe, and glued to the ground. the interior of the F is much nicer and its more spacious, better for evryday driving (my case). the F steering feel has a scalpel precision, much better that the G. the 40 F1 is gret , very enjoyable , BUT you should see the f1 of the scuderia that i parked next to my car, its my friend car, and believ me , in terms of f1 gearbox ferrari has put the benchmark very very high, dsg, smg, egear etc.. are waaaaaaaaaay behind, even the f1 superfast of the 599 is way behind the box of the scuderia... the scuderia f1 is simply PERFECT! not a single flaw.. another pic with the scud

    Beautiful car. I love your front plate. It should take you 30 min to drive from one side of Lebanon to the other side in this car

    Well congrats!!!!, your gallardo was a beauty, but this f430 with those wheels, is at the same level

    What sound do you prefer then?, gallardo v10 or f430 v8, what about the sound when down-shifting, the heel-toe sound done automatically with the f1 gearbox or e-gear??

    Its something I would really consider in these two particular cars, as they are very similar in terms of performance, history, and environment , it leads just to a choice of best sound I believe in order to keep one and leave the other one...

    Very nice car. Must have been a tough choice, taking the 430 over the G. Both great cars. Oh, and you 'll need to update your signature, not just your avatar!

    There is a F430 in my building. I look at it almost every day. It's a very beautiful car! Congrats. I am interested to know the longer term test between the two cars. Lambos are very reliable these days obviously due to Audi, but I still have a question mark over Ferrari.

    Thanks all for the kind words. as for the engine sound, the standard engine sound of the Gallardo is crap, but after i installed the Tubi rumore f1, its the best sounding car ever, its a sick exhaust. the f430 is nice, it has a nice growl and a lot of bass compared to the 360 or 355.
    the 430 feels reliable, and is very fun to drive, i am very happy i owned the G for two years, its my longest record ever! now i will enjoy the 430 for a year by the time we discover what new is coming. i think both are great car, kudo's to lambo to make such a great and reliable car, and its a real chick magnet
    the 430 is more suited to everyday driving, have a gr8 chassis , is very "alive" and very fast all over, and the interior is lovely!

    Nick, I am interested in knowing how many miles you have racked up on the F430? You sound like the typical Ferrari poser. I may be wrong, but I have not seen you talking about taking the car (or your other cars) to the track etc.
