    Any problem with the PCCB II?

    There is someone who have had some problems with the pccb system?

    I read some bad things about these break system and I don't know if change my order just to set the steel brake system...

    No real problems with brakes or anything else on 997TT. Last December, temperture 25-30 degrees F, I heard a very slight squeal once or twice. About 3000 miles. Will see how it behaves in spring. I would stay with the PCCB II. Good luck.

    I heard that many cars have as a retrofitable option the PCCB from Carrera GT. One friend bought them from Germany 9500 euros.. !! Are these brakes good? anyone know any differences?!

    On my 997S Cabriolet the PCCB option has been worry free and first rate. Nearly at 10,000 miles now and no signs of any wear.

    Any problems with PCCB that I have heard about are track related. Street use would never see any of those problems.

    The track problems were related to premature wear and cracking due to excessive heat, but I believe that was all PCCB Gen I, anyway.

    I had about a week of bothersome squeal from my PCCBs but it dissappeared as quickly as it started. 3200 miles now. Like Uber, my squeal was in very cold weather, but has not recurred - todays temp...16 F

    I love mine.

    I had no problem whatsoever with my PCCB brakes. I have 6000 km and 2 track days... 2 track days are coming up will see how it goes. How ever i have no concerns about track days. No squeals... Very happy with them. Do not regret it at all.

    The PCCB's on my 997TT are the best brakes I've ever used.

    They are wonderful brakes I just read this on another forum thought it might be of interest to everyone.
    "Due to heavy demand, Porsche has advised that option 450 (Ceramic Composite Brakes-PCCB) will no longer be available on new orders for the remainder of model year 2007.

    Existing orders with option 450 will not be affected but may be delayed in production due to supply issues of this option. Vehicle Distribution Bulletin 24/2007 Date: April 11, 2007

    Seems people are recognizing just how good they are and ordering more than was expected. I am so happy I got them.

    This is the sort of news that pushes those on the fence like me completely over the edge, to the dark, 9000 dollar, side.

    Now I won't even need any urging from Stradale.
