Where is light level sensor for dash illumination?
Does anybody know where the light level __sensor__ which controls instrument illumination levels is located? I know where the _rheostat_ is located (between speedo and temp guage).
Actually, is there a sensor?
On normal cars you turn on headlights and the dash lights up, you can control brightness independently with a rheostat.
On our cars it won't let you do that.
I'd like dash illumination on full during the day (with headlights on); I figure if I cover up the sensor it will do that. Sometimes it's hard to see guages with sunglasses on.
