Cayenne Turbo Vs Super-Charged GMC Sierra?
Hi :-)
Back again to rennteam
I've got a little question which sometimes frustrates me..
Why whenever a new car comes out people compare it with the power of the Cayenne Turbo and even bid that it would beat it from 0-100? My friend's friend owns a Super-Charged GMC Sierra and he claims that he can beat a cayenne turbo.. Well.. Luckily.. I've met that guy on the road last night.. I have a Mercedes ML 500 (Waiting for the new CT ).. The traffic light was red.. I didnt even know that he wanted to race.. When the lights went green, I saw him Speed and I sped too although I didn't switch the Gear to the Tiptornic mode (which makes a big difference in the power)... I was amazed that I could catch up with him until 80 or 90 km and then he started to move away from me but slightly.. I can't find an explanation for that since there's a big difference between CT's power and my ML 500... I still didn't tell my friend about it.. But.. Can a SC-GMC Sierra really beat a cayenne turbo?! They claim that it does because it is lighter in weight than the CT.. When we first heard of Audi Q7, everyone as usual claimed that it would beat a cayenne turbo, as we said when we heard about the Super-Charged Range Rover...
I really love the cayenne turbo but whenever I hear stories like that it gets me down a bit.. Explanations would be grateful..
Thanks :-)
