    Glass tinting

    Hi all, This might have posted but can't find it.
    I am planning to tint the side and back windows, what % in your opnion is ok, would it harm anything in the windows?

    you live in dubai .. hmm .. ive seen guys from their with 5 percent.

    I guess it just depends on if you want to be seen, and vice versa.

    depends alot on quality of film and installer, poor ones will show scratches.. u can even choose normal dark or reflective tints here. Friends have gone to 25% but have been pulled over by cops before.. me, I don't like the idea of "easy bait" for cops with attitude, so I'll go for 45-50% tint when my car arrives. Also with a dark interior a lighter tint will usually do for good cosmetic result.

    i did mine at zebart... they did a great job... without harming the windows they can take out the tinting garanteed

    Anyone else have the problems of those damn dots surrounding the windows? I had limo tint put on mine, and those dots make the tint so uneven...it drives me nuts. I've asked 2 different installers and they said nothing can be done... Anyone else have this problem?

    Sounds like trapped air bubbles due to poor seal.. A company here in Melbourne can remove old tint and install good quality ones, dunno if it's gonna help you at all where you are
