    Same HomLink on 997 and Cayenne?

    Not the biggest problem in this world, but: Never managed to programe the Garage opener on my 04 Cayenne
    but on the 06 997 C4S it worked at first attempt. Anybody know if there is a big difference on the two products?
    If it works on the 997 I would belive it should work on the Cayenne also.....
    I have tried the instructions I found on www.homelink.com with no luck, and I have been playing with the handheld
    remote in different angels and distances for houers... (Yes, I have tried changing the batteries... )
    Anybody have some insight and hints on this problem?

    Snowman, I own a 997 and a VW SUV. I had the same problem. Come to find out on my VW I had to hold the remote pointing at the passenger side reading map lamp. When I did this it worked. I had to call VW for this as the manual didn't tell me this. Maybe this will help

    I have a 2005 997S and a 2005 Cayenne Turbo and the programming worked the same on both of them. I put three different garage doors on both of them and once I understood the basic premise it just took me a few minutes.
