    Future cheap Porsche!

    I've seen the polls as to whether Porsche should build a cheap model that is priced under the boxster. All peculations i guess, since Porsche states that they will not build an cheaper version than the Boxster. Most people I believe don't like this idea because it could lower Porsche's exotic car image. Im just wondering what you guys think. In my opinion, I would love to see a followup for the 914!! As I love the car!! Maybe Fabina wants to give it a go.. and provide us with some lovely sketches!!

    I think the Boxster IS the follow-up to the 914. The 914 was not really cheap in its day, which resulted in a lot fewer of them being sold back then than Boxsters now.

    I don't have statistics to hand to back this up, but I think that in relative terms, the Boxster is more affordable now than the 914 was then.
