I have been traveling again and out of internet contact for a few days so sorry for not responding to these excellent posts on the Cayenne forum. I'll catch up when I get home.
This is Upper Yosemite Fall, a 1400 foot drop, tallest fall in North America and fifth highest in the world.
I didn't drive the Cayenne there so I don't have any Porsche related photos for the trip. I got there by way of LA and did manage this quick Gallardo photo when I met a friend for lunch. Not much else of automotive interest in my photos for this trip.
I don't know for sure if there are regular redwoods in the park. There are three small groves of giant redwoods, the Sequoias. At this time of year they are all hard to get to with road closures at those elevations and icy trails. Nevertheless, I did hike to the Tuolumne Grove and took some photos, two of which are below. I didn't stay long because the sun was going down and we had an uphill hike out. I could hardly see the trail when we got back to the car. I would like to go to Sequoia National Park. I have not been there but I understand the trees are even larger and far more plentiful.
I'm very sorry but this ain't a good picture for what reason they dug a hole in the middle of the tree?
they couldn't make the road go around this is Disgusting ‎
