    Yeah, that's me.

    It was a mate of mine in the SL, we always have some great tussles on track

    He has an RS also, and is now selling the SL, as he sees there isn't much in it on track performance.

    And yes, i nearly woned it on that left turn

    You drove very paitently following that Lambo....If i were you, I might already either passed him or hit him.
    What is that white car?
    The wing on that yellow Porsche is super ugly and drove not good.

    Excellent Video - makes one appreciate that the F1 cars almost go flat through turn one at Silverstone.

    A few people have asked that, sorry no idea, certainly nothing street legal..

    Prob some kit/home made race car i think....he ws quicker than me, so didn't want to hold him up.

    I really enjoyed the video, for sure a nice little battle between two amazing cars at the same level, it seems you where a bit faster into the corners, 997RS perfect balanced car!!! But well it also counts (and a lot) the skills of the driver!!

    Have you changed your front splitter? Just for looks or does it really add some downforce?

    The Cup front splitter looks great - did you get it as a Porsche Motorsport part or from a third party?

    Also would be interested in your views on the front bumper intake screens?

    Got the splitter from a friend, who's into motorsport, but believe they are available from soem of the usual aftermarket outlets, and may OPC's themselves.


    The Radiator protectors are a must IMO, they amount of crap that gets fired at them is amazing, most people i know have them fitted now.

    I didn't like their ones, as you say, they are a bit forward, some friends have them, and they work well enough, but they look a bit wrong where they are fitted IMO.

    Mine were fitted by a Company called Black Falcon, based at the Ring, they are fitted further back, and so more discrete as you say.


    I have also just had a new rear anti rollbar fitted, it is the one from the 997GT2 and is MUCH stiffer than the standard one.
    The car is now transformed, and the understeer has been dialled out.
