Huge favor to ask from PSE owners

I just installed mine and I keep hearing a noise from the driver side. Under 4.5K RPM nothing but I soon as I go above there is like a rattling noise or metal noise or something like this for a faint sec or less.

Can someone test this for me? In your garage or driving with windows down can you just do a quick acceleration over 4.5K or just tap the accelerator to 4.5K or 5K and listen and tell me if you hear anything.

No vaccum or anything installed on mine...straight muffler swap.

Will return the favor if you need any help!

Thank you. Figured it out. Lifted the car and tapped the

exhaust with a rubber hammer and located the rattle on the driver side. Should be fixed tonight! Thanks again.

Did you install this yourself? I am thinking of having PSE installed myself.

My PSE was installed less than 48 hours ago, and no rattles at all.

Note that I have an excellent relationship with the workshop manager.

I experienced the EXACT same thing. Had my PSE installed by OPC in stockholm with all electronics and such.... The rattle disappeared after approx 2 weeks and about 500km ov driving... I scheduled to pop my car back to the dealer to fix this rattling noice but since it disappeared and haven't come back (have now had the PSE for 2 months) I have apparently had no reason to have this issue fixed...

Please note that this rattle is independent of mod enabled/disabled... I have the electric wire removed now and absolutely love it!

It could be a loose bolt or even a broken welding. I had that happen to mt PSE, and I started to notice a metal rattle when revin'g at a certain RPM, on and off at times. Drove to the dealer, lifted the car, we looked under and sure enough a welding spot had separated for some reason. In 15 minutes it was good as new and back on my way.
