    Aprillia V4 developing 220bhp in testing

    Aprilia's long awaited litre superbike could get 220bhp.

    Aprilia doesn't seem to make a mistake since they became part of the Piaggio Group , i personally think that it will be an amazing engine , it's too powerful , on the other hand the money spent on this engine could have been spent on their V2s , but if you want to be a global company then you need a 4cylinder engine and i guess that is what they (Piaggio Group) want.

    They could probably co-develop a type of traction control for the bike in case for those moments when riders might get greedy with the throttle. I wonder what the rev-ceiling will be; 17,000+ rpms?

    The engine sounds fantastic but I am more concerned with the chassis aspect of the motorcycle. All the top factories, large and small, have top test riders. I wonder who is Aprilia employing to provide feedback during test-riding.
