Classy spec 👌🏼, interested in your feedback...
Will do! Should be highly amusing... maybe winter tires too.
This purchase was interesting as the first cracks in the car markets appeared: $10k under for a brand new 2023. Simultaneously, I moved my 2022 turbo S with 2200 miles for $43k over, so they're still strong if not higher than 6 months ago.
We may start to see some values this year.
German dealer over here offered me a BMW M4 Convertible with 12% discount, the M8 Convertible with 16% discount and even the new M3 CS I ordered with 5% discount (without me even asking
).
Mercedes? 3% for the SL63 AMG but only because I am a "good" customer (had three AMG Mercedes in the past 36 months). BMW dealers here are still generous but not for long: BMW, Mercedes and VW will switch to a different dealer/manufacturer franchise model, where the orders are basically made through the manufacturer and the dealers are only the ones who deliver and take care of the cars. Meaning: No discounts anymore.
Not sure how this system will be received here in Germany, I think many customers will switch to different manufacturers, unless of course the others start to use the same model.
I wonder what would happen if BMW, Mercedes and Co. would introduce the same system in the USA? Dealers wouldn't be amused I guess.
You made the right decision for your needs, Watt. Congratulations. Very nice and fast car and very reliable as well from what I heard.
