    From GTspirit.com:

The Porsche 991 is the sixth generation Porsche 911. The replacement for the 997 will be unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show next week.

The first models of the 991 which will enter the market are the Carrera and Carrera S. But there are no doubts other variants are in the works as well.

Our friend Milanno Artworks has made a great drawing of the future Porsche 991 Carrera GTS. The adjustments were inspired by previous versions of the Carrera GTS. These consists of an integrated characteristic GTS element on front air intakes. The lower part of the front and rear bumper, as well as the side skirts has been adjusted. Also Milanno Artworks has added side decals on the doors and four exhaust pipes. To round off the Carrera GTS, he has tinted the wheels black.

Not at all. I find the misaligned DLR lights to be the weakest design aspects of the new car. Looks plain wrong IMO.

With the bumper of this PS the DLR lights look better, but there may be an even better solution: change the shape of the lights. Smiley

A 911 shooting brake would be cool! But totally useless.

Yep, not to mention it beats ANY car in acceleration... (for a little bit)

indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine..  I happen to like both :)

    Atzporsche:

I presume you're talking about the RS2..?  I had one for a few years, and yes - even though it seemed to take forever for the huge turbo to spool up, it was then like someone had released an elastic band...

It had a better 0-60km/hr (not 0-100km/hr) time than both the Mclaren F1, and Gilles Villeneuve's F1 car at the time.  Quite remarkable for a station wagon.Smiley

Oh, and there were only about 2600 ever made - which always reminds me of those debates about the value of special editions.  It helps, but if you're looking for an investment, you shouldn't be looking at a car!

But we're probably way off topic by now....Smiley

Re: 991 spyshots thread (continued) (for UNRELEASED models only) Thread Closed

No keep it going i am seriously considering an RS2... They can be had for 20k EUR which is better value than a new VW or something...

Besides it's an automotive unicorn made by Porsche engineering. I really want one at some point.

Let´s put it that way... I see the problem but do not agree on the solution... Smiley
