    Good OPC in UK in Midlands area?

    I know this isn't a Boxster post but most of the UK people seem to be on this board. I'm seriously condsidering buying a Cayenne S but my OPC at Silverstone will only let me go out on an accompanied test drive which I'm annoyed about seeing as I have just spent the best part of Pounds69k with them on my 997. I don't want to thrash the car but I don't want a salesman breathing down my neck either. Does anyone know if any other Porsche dealer within a 100 mile radius of Northants will let me go out on my own in a Cayenne? How about the one in Cambridge?

    I'm getting my new Boxster from Porsche Sutton Coldfield (Birmingham) and they've been pretty good so far - for instance they arranged a test drive plus for me without asking. I don't know if they'll let you out on your own in a Cayenne, but it may be worth giving them a call. My salesman there is called Andrew Lane.

    There is also a Porsche dealership in Solihull that could be worth a try (never dealt with them myself).

    I can vouch for the Solihull OPC, at least as far as servicing my Boxster is concerned. Very corteous, prompt and professional.
