    A couple of Midnight Blue 997S Pics

    I've had the car about a week now, and just had it properly detailed....I'm very happy with the way the car drives, and the fit and finish is excellant...What I'm not happy with are the electronics. 1 week of ownership (200 miles) and 3 visits to the dealer already with the "system fault, return to workshop" issue...I've had the solenoids replaced, but still have the problem. It's really putting a dampner on how I feel about the car...which is a shame because it's a thrilling drive!!

    cool pictures!!! That midnight blue is pretty sharp

    good luck with the electronic "gremlins"

    (my dads 997s has a rear brake light that doesnt illuminate most of the time, its still a great car, taking to the dealer to get it fixed soon!)

    Great pics!! and congratulations on the car. Hope it stays clean for you for a while, and the issues are sorted out soon. Did you use a filter for the "star cross" effect?

    Jfraser, congrats great choice of colour. I've ordered my 997S in Mid Night Blue but gone for full Black Leather. Great pics these are the first 997S pics Ive seen in my choice of colour. Thanks for posting them.

    I wasn't a big fan of the old savannah biege interior, it was too mustard coloured for me, but I'm very happy with the new sand beige. I've always loved Porsche midnight blue...Hope your car arrives soon

    jfraser: Did you have electronic problems at all BEFORE you had the car detailed, assuming that was the first time the car was washed?

    The car was delivered with the system fault!!!!...Purchased in Penn, trucked to me in LA (closed sided vehicle)....I think the car was washed before it was sent...hence on arrival system fault....Had the 'rectification' work done...solenoids etc. car was fine for about 3 days...then reappeared...sytem was reset...had the car detailed...picked it up....system fault!!! Waiting for a response from Germany at the moment. Apparently this is unusual, as changing the solenoids normally fixes the problem.

    It's my favourite colour. I would prefer grey, black or sea blue interiour.

    I am starting to like 'colors' more and more!!! Before I liked only grey or black. Now I find speed yellow great. And your blue is beautifull
