More BMW CS 8 Concept
Shanghai - April 21, 2007: BMW Group unveiled the new BMW Concept CS during its press conference at the Auto Shanghai 2007.
BMW presented its vision of a unique four-door car which combines the exclusivity of a genuine luxury Gran Turismo with the fascinating thrill of a high-performance sports car, all in a dizzingly ugly package sure to send even KIA owners into fits of convulsive laughter.
Adrian Van Hooydunk, Director of BMW Design was unable to offer any rationale for the unsighly concept except to mumble incoherently the tired buzzwords of "dynamism, design culture and exclusivity."
Below is a BMW worker being severely punished for having arrived late to work three times in his career. His punishment? To work on the CS clay model without a safety blindfold.
The first of the two protoypes was placed on the edge of a Alpine cliff by a test driver praying the concept would slide to the valley below:
And here is the second prototype, parked in a rock slide
area by a desperate test driver in a impromptu safety test:
The BMW Concept CS sends out a clear message of active, dynamic motoring all in a styled package certain to revolt the senses of anyone who is not legally blind.
