    Cruise Control Inop

    Just had my 987 in for my cruise control not working. I have 22,000kms on it now. The dealership just fixed a communication problem between the control/stalk and the control module. No parts were replaced just a electronic glitch. I also had them order parts for trim issues such as door pad peeling by the door pocket, wiper cowl wavy as well as the rubber seal not fitting correctly between the roof and the windshield header. We will see how that goes in the future.

    The cruise control lever is a simple single bolt in unit/lever, with a short wire to the wiper stalk/lever above. Its then programmed into the cars central ECU. Its either lost the car settigns, or the wire has come loose. Either way it sounds like a simple fix has been completed, so no need to worry unduly.
