Buddy! Yes the tires have good tread left but it's the age that could be the problem. The rubber won't be as good. Remember rubber don't age well 😃

Nick's totally right on old rubber - Leawood shitcan those!
I'll never forget the "brand new" looking rubber on my 997 RS in NZ where I suffered massive sidewall failure, luckily at 30 mph, not at 130 a day before. Then read the codes - 9 year old rubber.
Totally agree and will not do anything other than drive it to the tire place when new rubber arrives! Burnouts are far worse on the clutch and rest of the drivetrain. Not into drifting either. They are soooo fucking cool looking. Will post pics as soon as they are mounted. Still catching fish at the lake.

You know, I do great things to union members.
Whenever I know someone is unionized, I cut them off in traffic and lineups, as I know they love that as they like to just stand there doing nothing. And the worse thing that could happen is that they stand there even longer waiting their turn to call their union rep. Everyone else behind me loved what I do as they can also cut right in front also.😎

30+ years into my car thing. I have yet to see a better looking set of wheels. BBS nailed it big time when they release the FI.
Tell these guys how light those wheels are, even with tires on
