trip:Porker:It leaves me strangely cold as well, whilst I was/am so crazy about the E34/E39 M5's.
Same here. Really missing my LM Blue E39 M5 (in my avatar). What a well balanced combination of performance, comfort, and understated good looks.

wantone:BjoernB:problem with BMW lately is that the moment you walk off the dealer it's +40% off.....
Looking for M2 CS at +40% off. Which dealer would you recommend?
There are more similar offers, prices are negotiable.
Not exactly 40% but over 20% in most cases.

well you get 25% fleet rebate in CH for a corp. new - and with a couple of miles you're immediately there. my friend bought his M5 for little over 100k CHF.
just a example
BMW M5 xDrive Competition, Occasion, Benzin, 6'800 km, CHF 97'800.– (autoscout24.ch)

Don't even get me started with the regular M5 Competition, my BMW dealer offered me an amazing lease deal but I have no need for this car. Even for a leased car, instant discount was 25% and the lease rate was 990 EUR for 36 months, no initial payment. Car was worth (list) 133k EUR. All numbers incl. 19% VAT.
With a "Tageszulassung" (dealer registers the car to his business, then you can drive around with it for a month or so and then you can register it to yourself), discounts are instant 30% or more.
BMW still has interesting lease offers in Germany. Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, etc. don't. Anymore. Yet.

Not in Greece - maybe they wanna recoup some money there
Thinking of moving to Switzerland or another more friendly to sports cars country.

If you do 50 kph over the limit, they shoot you in Switzerland and burn your car, or vice versa.
Not exactly sports cars country. The cheapest sports cars you still find in Germany in Europe. Many many offers for (sometimes) ridiculously low prices. You just need to look for them.

Porsche did an officially certified lap of 7:29.81 minutes (20.832 kilometres distance) in the larger and "normal" Panamera Turbo S last August.
So, 7:29.57 is surely a good time for a E-segment powerful 5 series, but nothing startling for a bespoke CS M-series ultimate performance car.
