Which car next, and which suspension?

I have thought a lot about what car to get next.
You're right Christian, it is difficult to make a decision.
One thing for sure, I think I'll stick with Porsche.
Another thing I want is fun.
I think I'll go for a coupe this time.
And you know what, a lot of people have told me I'll learn more how to drive properly in a C2 than a C4. ( I've heard that from proper race drivers actually)
I don't think I'll go for the Turbo for many reasons:
The main ones are that it's pricy and also it's just too fast, too perfect. ( and the insurance premium will gice me a heart attack )
I am actually thinking about a third generation facelift 996 (with the supposedly round lights) acording to rumors, engine goes to 3.8L and 350hp.
So here's my question, will I have more fun in a standard C2 without psm? (when you don't have psm, it's Traction control right? is that any good security wise?)
    I mean, a C2 coupe, that's pure driving right?
Then again, why not go for a GT3 in that case?
Fair point but I want to enjoy the benefits or the more comfy C2 like GPS, sunroof, Bose, etc.
I think I'll go for that...
    Any advice welcome.
One other concern weather it'll be a C2, C4S or turbo actually:
    I checked and it's official :
The 20 mm suspension is available for the C4S which means it should be also for the Turbo and as you all know it's been available for a while for the C2 and C4 (coupe only though.)
Is it worth buying that set up?
Basically that makes the cars 30 mm lower than a standard Carrera, will the car really behave better?
Will you lose a lot in comfort or it'll still be reasonnable?
I remember Christian told me it is not GT3 GT2 set up, it's the same height but it is different hence the comfort questions.
Tell me what you think about my new choice guys.
It's also good for me price wise since the C2 Coupe is the cheapest of the 911 range so if I get good money for my C4C, shoudn't be to bad on the wallet.
    Take care and thanks,

The new issue of the German "Sport Auto" magazine, available around November 20, will include a comparison of alternative suspension options offered by Porsche ... I am already curious about the results of this comparison...

Regarding the sport suspension for the turbo: it will be available starting in January 2003, MSRP will be around EUR 1700

    Re: Suspension, please Christian...

    Please Christian,
I don't know how to read german,
Will you post a resume of this future suspension article?

    Re: Suspension, please Christian...

My preference if for the X51/X74 combo on the C2. If you are in ROW, look into the new GT3 for track and hard street driving or a TT for daily driving and touring

    Re: Suspension, please Christian...

    Yeah, sure...why not?!

What do you think about my new choice?
    In other words,
    would you go for a C2 X51 X74 or a C4S X51 X73?
And do you agree with my racing driver friends who say that NA engines are easier to drive in the bends than turbo engines?

    Re: Carrera2?

I like the lighter 2wd, but the bigger brakes and awd are tempting for only a few more pounds. Up to you.
