Done the PSE Mode
Finally I have done the PSE mode which I was thinking of doing for the last 2 months after reading many positive comments about PSE.
First the closed hole is cut on the stock exhaust. I was told by my exhaust specialist that the interior of the PSE and stock is the same. He had cut both stock and PSE exhaust into pieces in the last month.
Here is the 2 pieces (1 elbow-1 diagonal cut straight pipe) welded by chromeweld together and finally welded on the exhaust.
Afterall, the welding points were sprayed by heat resistance mat paint against corrision.
As for the sound: It is louder with the same sound characteristics. After 5000 rpm, intake sound takes over but between 2000-5000 rpm, it is like turning up the volume.
I can't compare it with PSE since I haven't heard it before, but with a simple work, now my exhaust has 2/3 less back pressure and sounded louder with characteristic 911 noise.
