GT3 Protect stone sticker

Need advises.

If i'm not wrong on the GT3 or maybe it's on all P cars, there is a translucent or transparent sticker protecting from the stones that goes from the rear wing untill the front doors.

My request is does this sticker exist in black at Porsche? Thank's for your help. If yes who and where can i get this?

Years ago that part was made by 3M and is was in a black material. Perhaps you can still find one. It was standard fitment for MY77 930 through MY89 930 Porsches.

You could probably have one made. Have a guy trace the existing one and then cut one out of a black, thick protective vinyl. Not sure why you'd want that on your nice yellow GT3?

I made my own on my Bamboo Beige 911SC-Turbo many years ago. It looks fine, particularly if you have dark (black) wheels. I made my own template and made them from the full sized 930 ones.

Hi,

I had it made in black by an advertizing company that makes company logos etc to put on comercial vehicles etc. They used the standard clear item as a basis for the new one. They did not however have a thick quality, so we ended up puting it on top of the original one..

I'm thinking of doing that to remind the black weehl, but still not sure if i'll do it.

jo--I think it looks terrific on the white body and it will actually do more to protect your rear fenders than the thinner clear stuff. The slear stuff reportedly yellows considerably on the white cars.

A very retro look that works! Reminds me a a nice white 930 turbo from 1977 with black leather interior...
