    lookng for 997S video and owners manual

    Does anyone have a good scanned copy of a 997S owners manual? I have about 3 weeks before my car arrives and I would like to start reading up a little.
    I would also like to find and online copy of TopGear's test of the 997S if anyone knows where I can find one.

    Go to Renntech.org and register. you can find all the manuals there, but you must register

    Not quite.

    The most recent 997 manual there, dated October 2004, includes Cabriolet data, but nothing on what's available in 2006 models or 2006 options such as TPMS. And the PCM manual only goes up to v. 2 (the CD-based version); it does not cover the DVD PCM version that's been available for quite a while, or the newest version of PCM supposedly available since about April or May 2005 production.

    Well I signed up at renntech but i don't get the confirmation email. tried two different accounts and 2 different email accounts and zip. Anyone ever have this problem?

    Try www.racingflix.com for the Top Gear or any other videos.

    You will have to register first though.

    The Topgear episode, at leasts where Clarkson compares the car to its predecessor is pretty worthless in my eyes - I even deleted it from my harddrive.

    Tiff Needel gives a much better description on the Fifth Gear test including some laps on the track. What I mainly recall from that video is that he is surprised how civilized the car has become by now.
